CPH Beat Collective plays birthday parties in Copenhagen for every age — 18th, 30th, 40th, 50th and 60th. The DJ builds the set around the guest of honour’s favourite decades and keeps the floor full, with sound and lights included.
A 50th needs different music than an 18th — and both need someone who can tell when to switch from the classics to the new stuff. We ask about the birthday person’s favourite songs and eras, and plan a surprise or two together with you.
From the restaurant back room to The Standard to the family garden, we have the setup for it.

Questions & answers
Can you play music for several generations?
Yes, that is our speciality — classics for the grandparents, current hits for the kids, and a floor everyone shares. At the music meeting before the party we hear about the guests, the birthday person’s favourites and any songs that have to be played. During the evening the DJ reads the room and moves between eras, so nobody waits too long for their kind of music. A do-not-play list makes sure the tracks you would rather skip stay out.
Can you help with a surprise?
Yes. Tell us the plan and we will time the entrance, song or speech with you. We go through the details at the music meeting, agree on a cue and keep the right track ready so it starts exactly when it should. The wireless mic included in every booking is handy for a toast or a surprise speech. If the birthday person must not find out, just tell us who to contact and we keep all communication with you.
How long do you play?
Typically 4–6 hours. You can extend on the night if the party is still going. Essential covers up to 4 hours for up to 80 guests, Signature up to 6 hours for up to 200 guests, and Headliner runs all night for the bigger celebrations. Most birthday parties fit Essential or Signature, depending on how long you expect people to dance. Tell us your start time and guest count in the booking form and we recommend the right package in your fixed quote.
